This Windows OS utility can extract any text from files (csv, eml, txt, log) using any user written/custom regular expressions,
supports substitution tokens (such as <$&> for matched string or <$1> for first group matched) to customize the output,
can scan an entire folder
and subfolders for multiple file masks (such as *.csv|*.log).

You can use this tool to extract URLs like https?:\/\/(\.html|\.php|\.rar|\.zip) from EML files
(email messages), or specific text like emails, usernames, hashes from CSV files, or error messages from log files. You can scan a folder for specific file masks and use a regular expression
to extract the desired text from any file found.
Use regular expressions to extract any text from files (e.g from CSV, EML, HTML, JSON, LOG, TXT).
Customize the output using substitution tokens (e.g <$&> or <$1>), supports new lines \n and tabs \t char.
Optionally make sure the extracted match starts with, ends with or contains a specific string.
Scan an entire folder and subfolders (optional), skip files bigger than N Mb, skip hidden files.
You can scan a folder and search for multiple file masks, such as *.txt|*.eml|*.csv
The interface is intuitive and simple to use even for beginner users: select folder, file masks and regex.
We added support for scanning a single file (e.g a single .csv file) instead of a whole folder.
You can easily drag and drop a folder on the "Scan Folder" tab, or a file on the "Scan File" tab.
Click "Scan Text" tab, paste the text on the first box, write the custom regex and press the button.
